Glen Rock Pick-Up Trucks Wanted!

About 3-6 times a year, Bergen County runs "HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTIONS". GREC is looking to make these collections easy for Glen Rockers by recruiting 5-10 Glen Rock residents to "donate" their pick-up trucks and about 30-60 mins of their time.

How:
On a specific date, at a specific time, residents will bring their hazardous waste to your truck. They will load it onto your truck and you do NOT have to be there for it.  Then, after the specific time range has passed, you will drive the truck to either Paramus or Mahwah.  Bergen County volunteers will unload your truck for you!

Your Commitment:
Right now we are ONLY gathering information on truck owners.  As a Hazardous Waste Collection comes up, we will reach out to you to see if you are available.  If you can volunteer, then great! If not, no worries as there will be more collections coming soon.

Sample:
On Sunday, 4.30.17 there is a collection taking place at Bergen Community College in Paramus (10 minute drive) from 9am to 3pm.  You will put your truck in front of your house OR at a common location such as the train parking lot.  We will let residents know that from 8am to 11am (schedule is flexible) they can put their waste into your truck.  Before 3pm you then drive your truck to BCC and the volunteers unload. Ta da!

Ready to get on the Truck List!
